Sailed Hove again this afternoon, on the water from 3:45 until 4:45pm, all alone! Not quite pitch dark, but getting spooky by the end. Excellent conditions once more. I rigged the big 5.5m because I had accidentally left my 5.0m back at home. Shorebreak was scary still when I launched so I didnt want to risk floundering on the 4.5m. Probably the right choice in the end, but lots of down and out haul. It was hectic for the first 5 minutes, but a rain cloud skirted by over the land and the wind calmed for most of the session, only getting over powered again in the last 10 minutes. Lots of wave riding, my sweetest ever top turn using the RWW83, only the back of the tail in the wave, hanging out over a beautifully sculpted smooth wave face. Had time to look down and wonder if the JP has enough nose scoop, but no such worries.
